He was born and raised in New York City, and moved to Japan when he was 12 years old. He has a very wide vocal range, from soothing lows to clear highs, and is lyrical while creating catchy flows and melodies by using both English and Japanese. His first music video released “anymore” has over 100,000 views and in December of 2019 he also joined the cypher hosted by Red Bull Music “螺旋 Rasen". In March of 2020 he also released his 1st EP “Tonight”. BBY NABE is an artist that has the flexibility to step into many different genres of music, and is also a singer-songwriter that produces for many artists other than hip hop.
